Wire rope comes in many sizes and constructions. Each application will require different characteristics. For example tradeoffs may have to be made.
Our staff at D & M Wire Rope, Inc can help you choose the best construction and size for your job. One of the most asked questions is what the strength is of a particular size rope. That depends on what you want to do with it.

Contact us for strength of larger size ropes or ropes of different constructions. See our Assembly pages for the strength of various configurations.
If you are making slings the options and restrictions will change. D & M WIRE ROPE stocks all the components for any sling configuration you need. Our presses mechanically swage on rope up to 2" diameter. We also have the ability to pull test all slings and rope. We can also supply larger sizes direct from our vendors. And we also do spelter attachments or we can supply you with components to make your own eye ends. We stock thimbles, clips, hooks, ferrules, sleeves, and links.
